BSGI AGM Election Announcement: President and Vice President Elected Unopposed
It is our pleasure to share this exciting election announcement from our President Leena Gokhale;
“In accordance with the Constitution of the British Society for Gynaecological Imaging (BSGI), nominations for the positions of President and Vice President closed as required [six weeks prior to our AGM].
Only one valid nomination was received for each role.
In line with Clause 7.2 of the Constitution, where a single nomination is received, the nominee shall be elected unopposed without the need for a ballot.
It is therefore my pleasure to formally announce that:
- Mr Anthony Griffiths is elected as President elect of the BSGI
- Mr Alan Treharne is elected as Vice President elect of the BSGI
We warmly congratulate Mr Griffiths and Mr Treharne on their appointments and look forward to their leadership in the coming term, building on our relations with other societies, developing and supporting professionals.”
After the RCOG congress 2025, I look forward to handing over to safe hands the society I have supported for many years, and I will always continue to do so as the immediate past president.”
