The meeting opens with a morning programme of expert-led presentations focusing on contemporary developments in pelvic imaging and their impact on clinical practice. Faculty will share insights into evolving diagnostic approaches, highlighting the complementary roles of ultrasound, MRI, and emerging technologies in the assessment of gynaecological conditions. Sessions will also explore practical strategies for image interpretation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the use of imaging to support effective clinical decision-making and patient management.
Throughout the morning, scheduled breaks and the lunchtime interval provide valuable opportunities for delegates to visit exhibitor stands, engage with the scientific poster exhibition, and connect with colleagues working across women’s health, imaging, and research. These informal networking moments are designed to encourage discussion, knowledge exchange, and collaboration within the multidisciplinary community.
In the afternoon, the programme transitions to a more interactive format, with delegates participating in a structured practical skills programme. These hands-on sessions are designed to reinforce key learning points from the morning presentations and provide participants with the opportunity to apply techniques, discuss real-world clinical scenarios, and further develop their imaging skills under expert guidance.
Beginner / Intermediate – ideal for those developing core skills in ultrasound image optimisation, systematic image interpretation, and recognition of common pelvic pathologies. Practical stations focus on optimising ultrasound images, identifying sonographic features of endometriosis and adenomyosis, and gaining an introductory understanding of 3D ultrasound acquisition and its clinical applications.
Advanced Clinical – designed for experienced practitioners looking to deepen their expertise in pelvic imaging and advanced ultrasound practice. Practical stations include demystifying MRI for gynaecological assessment, simulation based training in ultrasound guided fibroid ablation, strategies for artefact reduction and optimisation of image quality, and advanced simulation in ultrasound assessment of obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASI) and rectal endometriosis to support imaging led clinical decision making.
Each track consists of four rotating practical stations, with 45 minutes dedicated to each station and a coffee break scheduled midway through the session. These small-group, hands-on sessions provide a structured opportunity to practise techniques, explore imaging findings, and discuss clinical applications with expert faculty in a supportive learning environment.
Who Should Attend?
This meeting is intended for a broad multidisciplinary audience involved and interested in women’s health imaging, diagnosis, and clinical management. It provides an opportunity for professionals working across different specialties to come together, share perspectives, and enhance their understanding of imaging in gynaecological practice.
It will be particularly relevant for:
Whether participants are building their experience in gynaecological imaging or are established practitioners seeking to update and refine their knowledge, the programme is designed to provide practical insights and clinically relevant learning that can be applied in everyday practice.
