The BSGI traditionally host its Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) in March or April of each year. The meeting takes place over two days and the programme includes lectures, themed sessions and debates by invited speakers. The Society holds its Annual General Meeting and Dinner on the first day of its ASM, and will be pleased to announce externally organised specialty-related meetings and events on its website in the “Other Meeting” section

The Society also organises hands-on Masterclass Workshops for trainees and trainers whereby key ultrasound skills are taught by the multidiscplinary faculty of the Society.

Annual Gynaecology and Imaging Meeting

The 13th Annual Scientific meeting of the BSGI offer the opportunity for all specialists with an interest in gynaecology and imaging related to Clinical Practice to update on academic developments in the field and discuss hot topics in clinical practice.

The aim of the ASM is to provide a focused day of clinically relevant talks across a range of areas including gynaecological oncology, benign gynaecology and early pregnancy. The ASM provides the opportunity to present academic work and trainees are especially welcome.

This meeting is eligible for 6 CPD points.

Gynaecology Imaging Course – JCA seminars

This is the third edition of our two-day gynae imaging course and we are delighted to be hosting this years’ in London!

Covering the essentials of gynaecological imaging, we shall be looking at how to acquire the best possible images over multiple imaging modalities, how to read these images and looking at a range of pathologies in the different areas.

This course aims to sharpen reporting skills and optimise scanning efficiency.

10 CPD credits can be claimed in accordance with the CPD scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists.
