We are delighted to have Professor Phil Newton join the BSGI session at RCOG Congress 2025. Our speaker panel focusing on The Future in Gynaecological Imaging and Service Delivery sees Prof. Newton join BSGI treasurer Mr Lukasz Polanski and committee Member Miss Ghada Salman to present and discuss on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in gynaecological imaging.
Prof Newton will be presenting AI and its Use in Ultrasound Education. The session chaired by Dr Lam Wai Cheung from the Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and BSGI President Mrs Leena Gokhale, her last official BSGI duty before formally handing the Presidency over to Mr Anthony Griffith, will see Mr. Polanski presenting POCUS and Advanced Imaging in Everyday Gynaecology and Miss Salman addressing AI and it’s Role in the Future of Gynaecological Imaging.
Prof Phil Newton is a Professor of Medical Science Education at the Swansea University Medical School. He is a neuroscientist who teaches evidence-based approaches to learning, teaching and assessment on the distance learning MSc Medical Education.
