What a day at The Grange!

The sun was out to welcome an enthusiastic group of delegates for our signature Ultrasound Workshop. With a jam packed schedule we got straight into the swing of things following a welcome from our course organiser and committee member Mrs, Rowena Sharma, with essential lectures covering ultrasound physics, transvaginal scanning and early pregnancy before delegates got into hands on scanning sessions thanks to the fantastic equipment and support provided by Helena and Joe from the Canon and the team from Intelligent Ultrasound. Our delegates were also able to undertake live patient scanning guided by our incredible faculty; committee members Mrs. Sophie Wong and Mrs. Irina Ramzan. Following a hot buffet lunch, we continued lectures with Uterine Abnormalities, Adnexal Pathology and Imaging the Acute Female Pelvis rounding the day off with a second scanning session supported by our fantastic faculty, committee members Dr. Vicky Minns, Mrs. Leena Gokhale, Miss. Eman Elkattan and Mr. Alan Treharne.

We have received exceptional feedback from our delegates and can’t wait to bring you more workshops in the future in a variety of other locations making it more accessible for all.
