The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), in collaboration with the British Undergraduate Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, will host its annual Careers Day on Saturday 13 June 2026. This online event is designed for medical students and doctors considering a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, offering a comprehensive introduction to the specialty and the diverse opportunities it provides.

The programme features a range of inspiring speakers, interactive Q&A sessions, and dedicated streams exploring career pathways, subspecialty opportunities, and how to build a supportive learning environment in clinical practice. Delegates will also benefit from on-demand access to session recordings for up to six months, enabling flexible, global participation.

As part of the event, the British Society for Gynaecological Imaging is pleased to highlight the contribution of committee members Vicky Minns and Michelle Swer, who have recorded an on-demand video for attendees. In their talk, they discuss the vital role of gynaecological imaging within O&G and share personal insights into how involvement with BSGI has positively influenced their careers.

Their contribution emphasises the value of engaging with specialist societies, highlighting the wide range of continuing professional development opportunities, as well as opportunities to participate in training events aimed at advancing imaging in women’s health.
