Our newly appointed President-Elect, Mr Tony Griffiths, presented at the EveryWoman Festival in Cardiff on Saturday 7th June 2025.

As part of the festival’s programme, Mr Griffiths delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled “Endometriosis: Past, Present and the Future”. His talk explored the historical challenges in diagnosing endometriosis, the progress made in imaging and awareness, and what the future may hold for this often-misunderstood and underdiagnosed condition.

With a focus on the evolving role of gynaecological imaging in improving diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes, Mr Griffiths highlighted the importance of continued education, research, and advocacy in women’s health.

The EveryWoman Festival is an annual event that takes place in Cardiff, dedicated to raising awareness and providing education around all aspects of women’s health and wellbeing. It brings together clinicians, researchers, campaigners, and members of the public in a supportive and inclusive environment. The festival aims to break down stigma, foster dialogue, and promote greater understanding of women’s health issues.
