The British Society for Gynaecological Imaging (BSGI) is pleased to share details of a new research initiative from Cardiff University.
The team is working to develop a decision-support tool to aid shared decision-making about pain relief during IUD (intrauterine device) fittings. As part of this work, they have launched a national survey to understand current practice across the UK.
This is intended to be the largest ever national survey of IUD fitters and aims to gather responses from a wide range of professionals. The research team is keen to hear from professionals from a variety of settings, with all levels of experience, whether you currently use multiple pain relief options or none at all.
The BSGI is not directly involved in this study, but we are sharing this information to support the research team in reaching as many respondents as possible.
If you fit IUDs in the UK, please consider taking part in the survey and sharing it with your colleagues.
