Earlier the week, our President, Mr Anthony Griffiths, was invited to teach at the impressive and futuristic Arthrex laboratory.

The state-of-the-art facility provided an outstanding environment for hands-on training, where advanced laparoscopic techniques were demonstrated and explored. The experience highlighted the importance of innovative, practical teaching in advancing standards within laparoscopic gynaecology. This course focused on advancements in fluorescence-guided surgery and fundamental laparoscopic skills including retroperitoneal pelvic anatomy and the use of ICG and interventions to improve safety and efficiency.

Mr Griffiths expressed his gratitude to Arthrex for their hospitality and commitment to medical education, noting that opportunities such as these play a key role in driving excellence and progress across the specialty.
