BSGI President Mrs Leena Gokhale shares she was honoured to chair the Women’s Forum at the BAPIO Wales Annual Conference on the 5th April 2025.

The theme was empowerment of women and Leena was please to see the inclusion of contemporary topics such as ‘Getting It Right First Time’.

The BAPIO Women’s Forum was established in 2012 during the annual conference with the goal of empowering and supporting BME women in healthcare. This workshop is designed to inspire women to thrive in their careers, navigate challenges, maintain a healthy work-life balance, and recognize barriers to advancement. It marks the beginning of a series of workshops tailored to women across all specialties and stages of training.
