The BSGI is delighted to congratulate long-standing committee member Dr Vicky Minns on her appointment as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Vicky has been an integral part of the BSGI committee for several years, contributing tirelessly to the society’s mission of advancing education, training, and standards in gynaecological imaging. Her enthusiasm for teaching and her commitment to improving ultrasound practice have made a lasting impression on colleagues, trainees, and our members.

Since graduating from medical school, Vicky has worked across a number of leading NHS institutions — including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead, Epsom & St Helier, Kingston, King’s College London, St George’s and Croydon Hospitals — and has also completed a fellowship in gynaecological imaging. Throughout this time, she has combined her clinical expertise with an enduring passion for education, ensuring that the next generation of clinicians benefit from high-quality training and mentorship.

As she begins this exciting new chapter, the BSGI would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude for her ongoing support, energy, and commitment within the society. We look forward to seeing all that she will continue to achieve in her new role.
