BIR Annual Congress 2026 – Optimising Clinical Outcomes with Practical Imaging

Hosted by the British Institute of Radiology, BIR Annual Congress 2026 offers two days of clinically focused imaging updates, case-based discussion and opportunities to engage with colleagues from across the imaging profession.

This year’s theme, “Optimising Clinical Outcomes with Practical Imaging,” focuses on translating evidence into everyday practice through sessions covering common clinical presentations alongside more complex imaging challenges. The programme also includes research presentations, professional development opportunities and discussions on workforce wellbeing.

The congress welcomes radiologists, radiographers, clinical scientists, radiation oncologists, trainees and other imaging professionals with an interest in advancing patient care through high-quality imaging.
