Applying IOTA in Routine Gynaecological Ultrasound

About the Speaker

Ms Grisham Smotra is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Walsall Manor Hospital in the West Midlands, where she leads the Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology Assessment Unit. Her specialist interests include gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound, complex early pregnancy care, ambulatory gynaecology and one-stop clinic models.

Ms Smotra established a consultant-led one-stop adnexal mass clinic, incorporating the IOTA-ADNEX model into routine clinical practice. Her experience in integrating IOTA into everyday clinical assessment makes her ideally placed to share practical insights and demonstrate how the IOTA approach can be applied confidently in routine gynaecological ultrasound
