Events

Here at the BSGI we are proud to be offering a variety of webinars and study days throughout the year, as well as our annual ASM and scanning workshops.

Webinars
We hold regular webinars with an impressive selection of speakers covering a whole range of different topics. These are currently free for all to attend as a live event , but are then put in the members only area, so that our members can watch again, or at a time when it is more convenient for them.

Annual Scientific Meeting
We host our Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) annually. We were delighted to return to a face to face ASM in 2026 consisting of lectures, themed sessions and hands on practical stations.

Scanning Workshops
We host in-person scanning workshops, which teach key ultrasound skills by the multidisciplinary faculty of the society. These have proven to be hugely popular, and our aim is to hold these in different venues across the whole of the UK.

Study Days
These are competitively priced, day-long courses on particular themes. If there is a topic you would be keen to see covered, please do email our admin team and let us know.
