Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

The BSGI is delighted to announce that its Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 will take place on Friday 19th June 2026 at the prestigious Royal Society of Medicine, London.

This flagship event brings together clinicians, radiologists, sonographers, nurses, researchers and trainees from across the UK and beyond for a full day of high-level education, innovation and hands-on learning in gynaecological imaging.

What to Expect

The meeting opens with a morning of scientific presentations covering the latest developments in pelvic imaging, emerging diagnostic techniques, and the evolving integration of ultrasound, MRI and AI. Delegates will gain practical insights into imaging-led management pathways, advances in minimally invasive approaches, and interpretation strategies for complex gynaecological conditions.Breaks throughout the morning and lunchtime offer opportunities for delegates to explore exhibitor stands, engage with the poster exhibition and network with colleagues. In the afternoon, delegates will take part in an immersive practical skills programme, choosing between two tailored tracks:Beginner / Intermediate – ideal for those building foundational skills in ultrasound optimisation, image interpretation, recognition of pathology, and introduction to MRI.Advanced Clinical – designed for experienced practitioners looking to deepen skills in MRI interpretation, ultrasound-guided techniques, image-quality optimisation and collaborative, imaging-led clinical decision-making.

Both tracks feature rotating, hands-on stations, providing an invaluable opportunity for experiential learning with expert guidance in a supportive environment.
