This 30 minute presentation covers everything you need to know in order to perform a transvaginal pelvic ultrasound.
It includes how to position your patient, how to be gentle, how to orientate and optimise your image and how to perform a systematic basic pelvic ultrasound.
Then we will learn how to apply the sliding sign, a crucial screening test for endometriosis, which should now be part of any routine pelvic ultrasound.
Lastly we will visualise the torus, uterosacral ligaments and bowel, which are all crucial in the diagnosis of Deep Endometriosis.
From basic to advanced, the presentation is practical with still images, video clips and laparoscopic views.
There will be live Q+A at the end of the video presentation.
