The RCOG launches Tomorrow's Specialist Working Party report on the 20th September

The RCOG established "Tomorrow’s Specialist Working Party" in 2011 and was chaired by Baroness Julia Cumberlege, the former Health Minister and Sir Cyril Chantler. The working party collected evidence from a wide range of sources between January and May 2012. The report makes recommendations on the support and training of doctors so that patient-centred care can be provided in women’s health services.

The launch was attended by representatives of the organisations that contributed to the report, invited guests as well as the President of the Royal College, the Vice President for Education and Baroness Julia Cumberlege.

Tomorrow’s Specialist puts into application the concepts suggested in "High Quality Women’s Health Care" document published by the RCOG in 2011. Follow the link to the full report.

The BSGI contributed to the consultation process and was represented at the launch by Mr Joseph Iskaros, Vice President of the Society.
