The Society proudly announces the prize winners at its 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting

The Society is pleased to announce that our Annual Scientific Meeting 2013 Prize Winners for the the best oral and poster presentations are:

Mr Lutfi Shamsuddin, Specialty Registrar gave an oral presentation on behalf of Miss Sarah Malone, Specialty Registrar and Mr Jonathan Chamberlain, Consultant at Sunderland Royal Hospital. The presentation title was: "Teaching Transvaginal Ultrasound Scanning under General Anaesthesia - Trainees' and Patients' Perspective"

The prize for the best presentation by a senior clinician was won by Dr Margit Dueholm, Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. Her presentation was: "A simple ultrasound algorithm for the identification of endometrial cancer".  Her collaborators in the project were; Charlotte Moller, Stinne Rydbjerg, Estrid S Hansen and Gitte Ortoft.

The winners receive £50 Amazon Voucher and will be eligible for a 50% bursary to cover the registration fee at the 2014 Annual Scientific Meeting
