There are three categories in the Society's knowledge-based CPD programme

Test your skills in image optimisation

In this category you will be shown one or more images to evaluate the quality of image optimisation. The quality of ultrasound images determines to a large extent the ability to make an accurate diagnosis. Optimising the image is a critical skill learnt by every sonographer and reflects his or her diligence and practical experience.

Case Studies

In this category a case is presented with clear learning objectives. Relevant history, investigations undertaken including images and treatment(s) offered are outlined. We will recommend further reading material to broaden your understanding of the topic. You will be able to test your knowledge, image interpretation and clinical management skills by answering a number of related questions.

Articles or PowerPoint presentations published or referred to on the Society's website

In this category you will complete a self-directed learning assessment relevant to your practice and job plan. Ultrasound related educational material with relevant references will be available on the website in due course.

You must be a registered member of the Society to be able to access the paper and answer the quiz.
